The process of creating this painting took exactly two months. I returned to the theme of Sak Yant tattoos and incorporated the coordinates of Mount Kailash into one of them.
Kailash is a sacred mountain, the only peak in the world that remains unconquered. It is a pilgrimage site for Buddhists. It is believed that a person who completes the kora (circumambulation) around the mountain 108 times is completely freed from sins, purifies their consciousness, and begins a life outside the cycle of Samsara.
Kailash is called the center of the Earth and many civilizations. The height of Mount Kailash is 6666m. The distance from Kailash to the Egyptian pyramids is also 6666 km. The distance from Kailash to the North Pole is 6666 km, and to the South Pole - twice 6666 km.

On the opposite side of the Earth from Kailash is Easter Island with its stone moai statues.

I hope that my work can convey to the viewer a glimpse of the magic that Mount Kailash carries within itself and inspire a spiritual journey to their inner “center of the Earth.”
