Juliana Tann (1992) realist painter from Republic of Kalmykia (Russia), lives in St. Petersburg and works all over the world.
Winner of the International Caravaggio Prize (Great Master of the Art, Milan, Italy). She is a participant of international exhibitions and competitions, has many publications in international magazines and catalogs.
Juliana's work is drawn to classical figurative painting in a modern realistic manner. A distinctive feature of her painting is the human image, that dominates in all Juliana's artworks throughout her creative path .Each of her projects is a reflection of reality, analyzed through the history of art of different cultures and religions.
«I try to bring life to all of my artwork to display everything that I see as realistic as possible.The most part of my artworks is exploration of my visual and cultural experience: the variety of forms and the natural clarity of textures, skin tones, lighting and optical effects. I like to discover depths of human emotions, work on every detail that will be intresting for the viewer and immerse him in the canvas.The process of creating each picture is a happy time when my inner world receives the energy to push away from the usual and show the limited life the infinity of its existence.»
